Our meal was delicious but the service was slow&hellip; not enough staff to serve the number of diners

The New Mill

We booked our meal at a very busy time. The food was excellent. We have never seen staff work so hard. They even made time to check everything was ok. Could not fault anything.

This was my first visit and I took my brother and sister in law as they were visiting on family matters.  The food was of good quality and our table by the window was fine.  My only problem as with the Bev hitch I found to be tough and not good value for the &pound;18.50 that it cost.  My two guest enjoyed their meal.  The waiting staff behaved perfectly.

Was unpleasant surprise. I booked my table and when arrived the person told me it is closed for private function.

The New Mill is a really well designed and spacious restaurant, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. They have a good menu and the food is excellent. A very enjoyable and comfortable experience. I have eaten there many times and the different people I have taken there share the same opinion.

Good quick service and the food was excellent. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Will definitely go back again.
